Shipping

Shipping is a flat rate $15 Australia wide and free for orders over $300. We also ship all over the world, including our friends in New Zealand, Indonesia and Papua New Guinea. Shipping costs for these areas depend on the size of your order, and your location, so please get in touch with details of your order and location for your personalised shipping quote.
We aim to lodge your order with our shipping provider within three (3) business days of receiving it. This is usually Aramax (previously known as Fastway Couriers), or sometimes Australia Post. Both services usually send an email with tracking information as soon as your label has been printed, but they don’t always provide the detail of who sent your package, or what it contains.
Sometimes there are delays beyond our control, linked to the shipping provider, or due to unforeseen events such as Covid related lockdowns. If you have not received your package within ten (10) business days, please get in touch and we’ll follow this up for you and reply as soon as possible.
Modern World Remedies bears no responsibility for lost or stolen packages.

Returns/Refunds

All products are carefully inspected prior to being packed for shipping. We take the utmost care to ensure that your order arrives safely to you, however once your order leaves us, Modern World Remedies is not liable for any products lost or damaged during transit/shipping.

Please contact Australia Post or the appropriate shipping carrier to file a claim if you have received your order damaged. It is important to take any photos as evidence and keep all packaging materials and damaged items before filing a claim.

Should your product arrive faulty (note: this does not apply to unique crystal and salt lamp characteristics – see below), please email us within 7 days at mel@modernworldremedies.com. Please include your name, product purchased and reason for the return. Further information such as pictures may also be required. In most cases you will be asked to return the item at your cost for inspection and if the return is valid you will be issued with a refund or sent a replacement within 7-10 days.

Special information about crystals and salt lamps

Please be aware that each crystal is one of a kind and therefore each piece will have unique variations in shape, colour, size and characteristics (including natural markings, fissures). These are natural stones and can vary from the images provided, which are there to provide a general representation of the quality, colour and sizing we offer. Each crystal will have its own beautiful markings, characteristics and pits. We cannot accept exchanges or returns based on these characteristics.
